My club is creating a Development Plan.
The comment is "We need a Publicity Officer"
Who wants to be an Officer? Why would anyone want the responsibility? What would be expected of this person? It's not the way things work these days.

I was a Trustee and Secretary of Ocean Watersports Trust VoG, I was Warden of the Oxford School Sailing Association (1979-2008) before returning to my home town, with the intention of establishing a Watersports Centre in Barry Dock. I am a National Umpire, retired ISAF International Judge (1990-2022), RYA Senior Instructor and Powerboat Instructor and Level 2 Race Coach. I have been an RYA Coach Assessor (1980-2013) and an International & National Race Officer. I am interested in the opportunities sailing can offer young people, but increasingly going travelling myself.
